Police hunt two men after break-in at Eaglesham gunsmiths
26 AugustPolice are hunting two men after a number of weapons were stolen during a break-in at Dalgleish Gunsmiths in Eaglesham.
A rifle, shotgun and knife were stolen from Dalgleish Gunsmiths on Montgomery Street in the early hours of Thursday 26th August.
One suspect is described as white, with a muscular build. The other man was also white and his face was covered with a scarf.
Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them.
Detective Constable Gary Gallacher, from Strathclyde Police, said: "We are currently viewing CCTV and hope that this will help take the investigation forward.
"I would urge anyone who saw the two men either entering the premises or fleeing the scene to contact police.
"I am particularly keen to speak to a man who was walking his Jack Russell dog along Montgomery Street at the time of the incident. I would ask him to contact police with any information which may assist with our investigation."
